7 Reviews of the Blackrock 4

Great tent really easy to erect this is our first tent and first time camping and found this easy to set up and also very comfortable, we had enough space for us all 2 adults and 2 young boys. We decided to purchase this 4 berth for the added luxury of having enough space to sleep in and some where to store bags and other camping gear. Really pleased with the purchase and would highly recommend. It has a sewn in ground sheet and the inner tent can be made into one bedroom or two separate bedrooms with a zipped middle section. It has fly sheets on the inner tent so the top part can be unzipped to allow air into the sleeping area without the migies getting you, overall a great buy and would recommend to any one interested in a good quality and value for money.

Great tent, easy to put up and take down. Just enough space for us and space to move around in. Sleeping area was good as we could make into one big room, very cosy. The height was what sold it to us as my husband is 6ft 2 so plenty of head room. We bought this tent for weekend trips and something I can put up myself. Put up in 15 mins with a tiny bit of help from a fellow campsiter.

VERY GOOD. We like a tent one can stand up in. Two of us in our 60's it has stood up to gales and very heavy rain. We do not use the divider which separates the two double berths.
(snug as a bug in a rug)very pleased with it!
The only disappointment is that the inner lining is fixed where as the Hi Gear 8 man the inner lining comes out completely(my daughter has one).

We bought this tent for use with two of us as an intermediary between the Zenobia 6 and a two person mountain tent - we like to stand up! It's easily erected, though the long pole sleeves take a bit of getting used to and there is plenty of space for two adults. The bedroom separates into two for privacy, and when left as one is absolutely massive for a double mattress.
The tent ventilates well, and has two doors which are ideal for hot weather. The living space would be tight for four chairs, but ideally you'd want to spend the time outside anyway. We bought it for use as a a decent space tent for two people at a base camp for holidays in the mountains and it is ideal for this.
It's proven itself stable in the wind, and watertight in the rain. We paid £60 in an offer at Go Outdoors and it's a a bargain at that price. There is a porch/canopy available for another £35 and for a family would be a good investment.

Bought this tent for our introduction to camping, weren't sure we would like the camping life so didn't want to spend a great deal. An excellent tent which took us only 15 mins to erect even on our first attempt. Only sold it due to lack of accessories i.E. Front canopy/extension. Really wish we had kept it now, much better quality than the Vango Icarus 500 we supposedly upgraded too (see my review). Would definitely recommend.

Just come back from camping in Devon, stayed 6 nights. We did have rain the first day we were there, no leaks! Plenty of room for 2 adults, easy to erect and even when it's windy it holds up your not realising the morning after that the pens need putting back in like some tents. Sewn in ground sheet and two doors, one at the front and one at the side. Perfect when it's red hot weather. Also the fly sheets are great windows left open knowing you won't come back to a few flys in the tent. Would definitely recommend to all.Perfect!

Great tent really easy to erect and after using a 2 berth festival tent for 2 adults we decided to purchase this 4 berth for the added luxury of having enough space to sleep in and some where to store bags and other camping gear. Really pleased with the purchase and would highly recommend. It has a sewn in ground sheet and the inner tent can be made into one bedroom or two separate bedrooms with a zipped middle section. It has fly sheets on the inner tent so the top part can be unzipped to allow air into the sleeping area without the midgies perfect if you are somewhere like Kettlewell!
